Vintage Sterling Silver & Abalone Earrings

A pair of vintage sterling silver & abalone earrings.  A sterling silver framework of open-work swirls surround the oval bezel set abalone shell in the center.  The shell reflects shades of soft green, soft gray, and soft purple. The earrings dangle from shepard hooks which are marked 925.  The earring backs marked TDP and test sterling. The earrings measure approx. 5/8" x 1" and dangle approx. 1-1/2" long.
