Vintage D & E Juliana Pastel Rhinestone Mesh Waterfall Choker Necklace

This vintage D & E Juliana gold-tone mesh waterfall choker necklace pairs soft green, pink, and yellow rhinestones with faceted crystal glass bead drops. Graduated strands drape across the front of the neckline, creating movement as the necklace is worn.

Design & Attribution

The double-rounded mesh collar supports pastel rhinestone chains in varying lengths, each ending in a large, multifaceted crystal glass bead with a gold-tone filigree cap. A hook clasp fastens to a linked extension chain, which finishes with an aurora borealis crystal glass bead and filigree cap.

Attributed to Juliana by DeLizza & Elster based on construction similarities to a verified example, including the mesh choker, J-hook clasp, and linked extension chain. This necklace itself has not been independently verified.

Measurements

• Necklace length: approximately 17-1/2 inches, adjustable shorter.
• Longest rhinestone strand with bead drop: approximately 1-1/2 inches.
• Double-rounded mesh width: approximately 3/8 inch.
• Decorative front section: approximately 5-1/2 inches across.

Condition

Verdigris is present on the inside of the gold-tone mesh and at the top of one rhinestone chain. Please take this condition issue into account when considering this vintage necklace.
