Vintage 1975 Mimi Di N Nautical Clam Shell Belt Buckle

A vintage 1993 Mimi di N nautical clam shell belt buckle. This vintage belt buckle by Mimi di N consists of a highly textured nautical gold tone metal rope surrounded by four textured gold tone metal clam shells. This belt buckle has a hidden connection in the back where you would slide your favorite fabric or leather belt through to position the belt buckle and clasp it together in front.  This clam shell has a condition issue with one edges near the connection in the center has a bit of finish loss. This nautical belt buckle is signed Mimi di Ni on a cartouche on the back and dated 1975. This belt buckle measures approx. 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" long.  This belt buckle can utilize fabric or leather up to approx. 1-1/4" wide.
