Vintage Sterling Silver Bloodstone Pendant Paperclip Chain Necklace

This vintage necklace showcases a polished oval bloodstone cabochon, a semi-precious gemstone, set within a handcrafted sterling silver pendant featuring leaf and natural motifs that serve as prongs. The pendant, stamped sterling on the back, measures 0.73" wide and 1.23" high including the bale, or 1" high without it. It is suspended from a 15" sterling silver paperclip chain, also marked sterling, with a repaired clasp loop. Bloodstone is traditionally believed to provide the wearer with courage and strength.
