Eye catching hues of soft purple, soft blue, soft white, and gold complete the look for this amazing antique 19 piece Japanese Nippon tea set. 

This antique Japanese Nippon gold Moriage tea set includes:

A pedestal teapot with a cover and strainer inside. This teapot measures 8-1/2" wide from spout to handle x 5-3/4" high.

Five pedestal tea cups each measuring 4-1/2" rim to handle x 3-5/8" on the other side x 2-3/8" high. One of the teacups has a manufacturing defect from a paint spot made during the hand-painting process.

Six saucers each measuring 5-1/2" wide x 7/8" high.

Five dessert plates each measuring 7-3/4" diameter x 1" high. One of the plates has a manufacturer's glazing defect and a paint spot made during the hand painting process.

A covered sugar bowl measuring 7" wide from handle to handle x 5-1/2" high.

A creamer measuring 5" from spout to handle x 5" high.  This piece has a condition issue with stains on the inside at the bottom of the creamer.

The bottom of the tea set is stamped Made in Japan with the Nippon leaf hallmark.
