One Vintage Avon Ruby Red Cape Cod 1876 Dinner Plate & 2 Dessert Plates Orig Boxes

This is a collection of three pieces of Avon Ruby Red Cape Cod 1876 pattern plates in two original Avon boxes.  The dimmer plate measures 10-1/2" wide x 3/4" high and each dessert plates measure 7-1/8" wide x 3/4" high.

The history of this Cape Cod 1876 pattern is described on the back of the boxes. The design of these plates are based on the lacy patterns of the Boston & Sandwich Glass Works that originated in Cape Cod in 1825.
