Handmade Navajo Native American Clay Pottery Vase Artist Marie Begay Kanuho

This is a Native American carved clay pottery vase by the well known Navajo artist Marie Begay Kanuho. This handmade vase consists of a soft white unglazed pottery base with two black horizontal lines near the bottom above this are hues of  blue, browns and tans. Carved images adorn the top of this vase with glazing on the inside.

The vase is signed Kanuho and Navajo, USA on the bottom. This vase measures approx. 4-1/2" wide at the opening, 18" wide in the center, and  approx. 4-1/2" high. The vase has a condition issue with some slight scrapes to the finish on the outside and crazing on the inside of the vase.
