1936 Pearson’s Birds of America Book 106 Color Plates

 

"Birds of America", edited by T. Gilbert Pearson, President of the National Audobon Societies, is the title of this 1936 masterpiece. Louis Agassiz Fuertes's intricate paintings and drawings, as well as 106 full color plates and hushed black and white photographs, grace the pages of Garden City Books' copyrighted publication. An issue with the binding of this 11-1/4" x 8-1/4" x 2" piece is detailed on the first page, and slight staining is seen on the front and back covers. An inspection of our photos is encouraged.
