J P & L Limoges Serving Dish and Gorham Fish Plate

This distinctive serving set pairs an antique hand-painted Limoges dish by J P & L (Jean Poyat Limoges) with a silver-plated Gorham fish plate. The Gorham plate, marked and measuring approximately 12¼" by 19½", shows some scratches in the serving area. The Limoges dish, also about 12¼" by 19½" with a height of 1¾", features delicate gilt handles and bears the J.P. & L. Limoges and Poyat Limoges marks. Despite minor wear on the serving section of the Gorham fish plate and three chipson the back of the Limoges serving plate, this elegant combination offers a charming addition to any collection or table setting.
