Vintage Coro Sterling Vermeil China Peacocks Fur Clips
A pair of vintage Coro sterling vermeil China peacocks fur clips. These fur clips were part of a Asian series reminiscent of China created by Coro. a pair of vintagegilt sterling silver peacocks are proudly looking at their plumage of turquoise blue oval multi-faceted rhinestones set in an open back with clear and red round rhinestone accents. The China peacocks were designed by Alfred Katz in 1946 as part of a duette patent number 146,036 for Coro. The fur clips are dated no earlier than 1946. The back of both fur clips is marked sterling. This set has a condition issue with the duette pin mechanism is missing and one peacock has a clear rhinestone eye instead of green. The sterling silver fur clips each measure approx. 1-1/4" wide x 1-3/4". Please take a look at our photographs.
