For your creative endeavors, this vintage carved red onyx lamp is being sold in the condition that it exists which is just the stone itself with the cut outs for wiring.  This stone "lamp" would also need a base as the stone at the bottom is unpolished.

This lamp based has a condition issue with some scratches on the stone and it needs to be rewired to work.

This carved red onyx lamp base measures 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" at the base x 19" high.
