Vintage Santa Clara carved and polished pottery vase By Harrison Begay, Jr. is set with four deeply carved images of four bears set with a round blue turquoise or red coral bead in it's center.
The bears are in a matte finish with polished surfaces all around the bowl. The bear is a symbol of strength.
This vase is marked with the hallmark for Harrison Begay, Jr and dated '94 for 1994. This vase measures 2-1/4" at the base x 4-3/4" wide at widest point with an opening of 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" high. This piece has a condition issue with white scratches on two of the matte finish bears.
